On 19 December 2018 Sara NLam Gam Li’s Golden Jubilee was celebrated at St. Luke’s College Campus. There were about 3000 people came to the ceremony and appreciated him. He is known a model Catechist in the diocese of Myitkyina. Initially he had served as a catechist in remote areas for many years. He has a remarkable life story that he came across in the last 50 years. He is at present one of the St. Luke’s College staff as well as a head of catechists in Edin, Ayemya and JanmaiKawng quarters of the Myitkyina city.

During the ceremony St. Luke’s College Students together with youths from villages helped in many parts of the activities. However, it not only motivated other catechists but also our St. Luke’s College students.
