Graduation Mass

The No. 7 of the EAPI Joint-diploma graduation started with a graduation Mass at 6:30 in the morning on 26th March 2026. The graduation Mass was led by Bishop John Mung Ngawm La Sam. He delivered an encouraging homily and invited the graduates to commit in their future missions. Bishop Raymond Sumlut, Bishop Francis Daw Tang (Emeritus), many invited priests, religious, staff, students and parents of the students joined the Mass.  The Mass finished at 7: 30 am.

Graduation Ceremony

At. 9:30 am, the graduation ceremony was commenced in a hall. 54 graduates came together to celebrate their incredible achievement. Among them, 42 were from Myitkyina Diocese, 6 from Banmaw Diocese, and 6 from Lashio Diocese. The ceremony was graced by Bishop John Lam Mung Ngawm Sam, Bishop Raymond Sumlut Gam, Bishop Francis Daw Tang (Emeritus), priests, sisters, lecturers, catechists, local faithful, students’ parents, and other honored guests and relatives of the graduating students. There were about 500 people participated in the ceremony.

The event began with a theme song and a modest procession, followed by an opening prayer led by Saya Tu Lum, a local catechist. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and encouragement as Bishop Raymond Sumlut and  Fr. Dr. Bernard Dashi Tang delivered inspiring speeches to the graduates.

The event concluded with a heartfelt prayer and blessing from the bishops and priests, followed by a joyful celebratory lunch for the special guests. Congratulations to all the graduates on this remarkable milestone!

Awarding program

At 4 o’clock in the evening, the third part of ceremony continued with the presentation of certificates and gifts. Outstanding students and academic achievers for the years 2025-2026 were honoured by    Sr. Roi San, the Academic dean and Sarama Hkawn Ra, the extracurricular dean. The ceremony completed with a dinner.
